“Belvedere,” means “beautiful view” in Italian, and the castle was designed by Central Park co-designer Calver Vaux and architect Jacob Wrey. It was completed in 1872.
The architectural elegance of the Belvedere Castle represents its historical value. Meticulously crafted and inspired by Gothic and Romanesque styles, the castle is an example of artisanal construction.

Prior to initiating any restoration project, our team follows a comprehensive process. This involves conducting in-depth assessments to understand the challenges we will encounter, exploring a range of approaches, and customizing a strategy perfectly suited to the specific project.
1
Using appropriate materials that closely align with the original architecture is critical. We thoroughly evaluate all available options and select those that best fit the project. For instance, in the restoration of the Belvedere, we matched and incorporated almost 1,500 bluestone and granite Dutchman.
2
Complex projects like the Belvedere Castle require a diverse range of expertise to achieve maximal results. Therefore, we employ collaborative efforts that involve working with professionals, including local artisans and craftsmen who possess in-depth knowledge to ensure precision and excellence in our work.
